Flammable Cabinet Inspection Checklist

The proper storage of flammable materials is a major component of fire hazard prevention. Not only do you need to have the right storage containers, but you also need a safe place to store those items. Cabinets are a common solution, offering the security and organization that most businesses need.

This inspection checklist covers three main areas that your storage system should include:

  • Storage containers: Are your flammable materials properly contained and labeled?
  • Storage cabinet: Is your cabinet in good condition and organized correctly?
  • Storage location: Does the area surrounding the cabinet reduce fire hazards?

Download the free template and edit it if you want to add or remove checklist items for your team. Make sure you complete this inspection regularly to avoid OSHA storage violations.
