Training Matrix Template

Keeping a log of all your workers’ training progress makes coordinating shifts much easier. By looking at your training matrix, any manager should be able to determine which onsite employees are qualified to complete a task.

This template includes the major information you’d want in this log, including:

  • Employee ID and name
  • Department and role
  • Skillsets

It’s broken down into two sheets, one for the employee records and the other for all the courses within a given skillset. So, for example, pickers who drive PIT equipment would need different training than ship dock workers who load trucks.

Listing the required training courses within each skillset separately simplifies the overall format, however, you can edit this template to whatever layout works best for you.
