Machine Safety Checklist

With a large operation, it can be hard to regularly inspect all the tools and equipment workers use. But when it comes to machinery and heavy equipment, daily and weekly inspections are essential.

Most of the time, you won’t find anything wrong to correct. But every now and then you’ll notice a small defect or change that has made the equipment less safe. Identifying these issues early not only prevents incidents, but it also lowers the cost of repairing major concerns down the line (or replacing the machine down the line).

You can use this simple checklist to check things like guards and electrical components on a regular basis. Just download it into your preferred format and then either print it as is or edit it to accommodate the specific machine equipment at your facility.
