Job Safety Analysis Training | Video

Let’s talk about Job Safety Analysis Training! A Job Safety Analysis, or JSA, also referred to as a Job Hazard Analysis, is a technique used to identify, evaluate, and control health or safety hazards linked to a particular job or task.

In other words, it’s a proactive incident prevention tool. A JSA is a participatory process requiring input, feedback, and cooperative effort from workers, supervisors, and management.

A JSA should be performed for any job in the workplace, whether the job is special, non, routine, or routine. Even one-step jobs, such as those in which only a button is pressed, can and perhaps should be analyzed by evaluating surrounding work conditions.
