Fire Watch Log

Hot work activities like welding and soldering increase the risk of workplace fire incidents. That’s why it’s important to always have a fire watch when these activities are happening.

This log sheet provides an outline for documenting what happens during a watch. It includes space for logging any safety issues you might encounter, as well as space to document your corrective actions.

Use this log every time you perform a fire watch so that you have an accurate record of your fire prevention efforts. This may come in handy for regulatory compliance and internal audits as well.
